James, a 3-month-old baby, engages in conversation with his family in the video as they work to elicit his first word.
They keep saying, “Say mom,” but James appears content to remain silent. Until they instruct him to say “taco.”.
Little James gives his family the word after a brief pause. Unsurprisingly, they are happy, and it is a really sweet moment.
Although it was obvious that young James was simply mimicking the sounds and that it wasn’t really his first word, I’d like to think it was deliberate and indicative of a lifelong love of tacos.
