A few weeks ago we were informed that the apartment complex Stevie (and many other Oranges) came from had a kitten. Despite many attempts over the years, we have not succeeded in getting her mother back. Running a colony of this size is not easy. I won’t stop until I collect all the last kittens, but I’m grateful that in the past two years, she’s adopted only six of her 20+ kittens.
Initially, we thought these kittens were too old for any other than her TNR contestants. These bastards had other plans—too sick to be castrated, and cute. It’s no secret that Saving Stevie hasn’t been allowed in for a few months, but please help the original story kittens you rescued when they need help.

A big thank you to Jesse and @claudiacappo_ for helping us catch these babies. Thanks to @bellereece for helping with the casetrap. Thank you @petcommunitycenter for everything from leasing traps to providing medicine to providing a place to hang out for a few days (and maybe even more for trying to retrieve a kitten that escaped from the dashboard of your car 🤦🏻♀️). As cliché as it sounds, we actually need a village. With just a few days left of our fundraiser, please donate to support these 3 surprise kittens. If you can’t find an item that interests you, you can select “Donate” in the top corner. This is a monetary donation only. If you are unable to donate, please share this information with your friends and family. @kittenitwithkiki said.

The oranges are still learning to be friends, so I only give them the wet food they crave when I’m around. They quickly learn that humans love them…because they give us delicious food.
If you want someone to like you, send them a candy or two and they’ll be happy! The easiest way is to send a digital gift card to hello@ Savingstevie.com or buy groceries directly from our Amazon Wish List at Savingstevie.com/donate.
